There’s lots you can do. Learn all you can about HIV. Work with your nurse, doctor and other care givers. Turn to family and friends for help. Many people are ready to lend a hand.

News about HIV changes constantly. Keep up to date. Discuss new ideas with your healthcare team.

Sticking with a pill schedule may be part of your plan. If you have problems sticking with the plan, talk with your nurse or doctor.

Be good to yourself. Do things that make you happy. Enjoy life. When you have a bad day, look to your family and friends. They can encourage and support you. They know you’ve come a long way. They want to see you happy and healthy for a long time.
